Who we are

Marbe Pharma

Marbe Pharma was founded in 2018 in Marbella with a clear idea: supply chains for animal-derived active ingredients, and heparin in particular, need partners who understand both the market and the production process.

Today we work with manufacturers, producers and collectors to diversify supply beyond Asia, reduce single-supplier dependency and minimise regulatory risk. We do so with a strategic, long-term approach rather than a transactional one.

Our team holds Good Distribution Practice (GDP) certification for active substances for human use.

Strategic technical partner

More than 40 years at Scientific Protein Laboratories (USA), with deep expertise in injectable heparin production, heparin analysis and research, quality control and GMP compliance, as well as high-lipase pancreatin production. He leads Marbe Pharma's technical services.

Where we are heading

Vision 2026+

We aim to consolidate a European footprint in heparin, glycosaminoglycans and animal-derived APIs, and to move towards upstream integration, including our own heparin production, either independently or through selected partnerships and joint ventures.
